Role: Teaching Assistant
Contract: Flexible (full time or part time)
Location: Mid Cornwall
Salary: £88 - £95 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
About the role:
1. Assist the Teacher in ensuring a positive and safe learning environment
2. Support students with SEN, helping them to overcome barriers to learning
3. Adjust activities according to pupils’ responses as appropriate
4. Support pupils in their social and emotional well-being
5. Promote the safeguarding and welfare of all students

About you:
1. Experience working with children, preferably within an educational or coaching setting
2. Patient, empathetic, and dedicated
3. The ability to engage students in their learning
4. Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support young people is desirable
5. Adaptable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to drive and have access to your own car, not essential
