Are you looking for night work? Being there for others and providing emotional reassurance overnight is more rewarding than you might think About the role Youll join us as a Waking Night Support Worker in Streatham, which is home to twelve people aged between 45

Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.
- 65, with learning disabilities.

They are all very active during the day and may want to talk to you about their activities and what they have been up to before they go to bed.

You will then check at regular intervals to ensure they are comfortable and getting a good nights sleep ready for the next day.

This is an important role to make sure people feel safe so at times it can be more about providing emotional reassurance.

Some people may need support with medication and/ or personal care throughout the night.

There may also be light cleaning and domestic duties to complete, in order to ensure the home is tidy ready for the next morning.

IND About you Of course we welcome you if youve been a care assistant or support worker, but experience isnt essential.

If you have the right attitude, good customer service skills, share our values and are willing to learn, youre likely to be a great fit.

Training and Development At Macintyre we fully support your training and development.

We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.
