KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title: Residential Childcare Trainer/Assessor (Freelance)Location: Hybrid - Home/Field based covering Liverpool, Manchester and surroundingRate: £200 per dayType: 2 days per week for approximately 6-9 months, with possibility to extendEssential Criteria:
* Hold either a recognised Assessor award OR Level 3 Teaching qualification.
* Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare, or relevant occupational experience.
* Knowledge of End Point Assessment.
* Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
* Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
* Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships, Level 3 and 4.
* Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
* Conduct remote and face to face meetings and training sessions with learners.
* Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
* Support, advise and motivate learners.
* Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
