Are you passionate about data and keen to kick-start your career in analytics? We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Graduate Insights Analyst. You’ll learn how to develop high-quality, robust data and analytics using tools like Databricks, Python, and GIT. You’ll support the design and development of scalable data models, write efficient code, and help produce datasets and reporting to support a data-driven business. This is a fantastic chance to build your skills in data and storytelling to help our business make informed decisions.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing
* Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and models in Databricks using Python
* Create data visualisations in Power BI
* Support the team to follow technical standards, best coding practices, and version control procedures
* Gain knowledge in insurance data metrics and reporting
* Help to deliver reports and insights within agreed timescales
* Use tools like GIT and DevOps to track your work and manage version control
* Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements, with guidance from senior team members
* Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments to improve your skills and stay current in analytics and cloud computing

What you’ll bring
* Experience of Python (or other coding languages such as R or SQL)
* Desirable: Experience using a visualisation tool like Power BI
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and tell a story through your findings
* Organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks
* Confidence to present your work clearly to different audiences
* Knowledge of risk, conduct, or service functions and reporting
* Interest understanding of how business operations work and the key metrics that drive insights
