* Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
* Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 18:00 – 06:00
* Salary: £28,000 per year
* Based: Chesterfield, East Midlands (currently in Alfreton DE55 4QX)
* Relocating to brand‑new East Midlands site at S44 6AE in July 2026
* Romac Logistics is expanding and recruiting additional Stock Controllers ahead of the opening of our brand‑new 251,000 sq ft East Midlands logistics facility located at Junction 29A on the M1 corridor.

Roles And Responsibilities
* Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across all warehouse areas.
* Perform regular cycle counts, spot checks, and full stocktakes to ensure inventory accuracy.
* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies in collaboration with the warehouse team.
* Record all stock movements in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or inventory tracking software.
* Liaise with purchasing and planning teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
* Support warehouse operatives with stock-related queries and provide guidance on stock handling procedures.
* Assist in developing and improving stock control procedures and processes.
* Generate and analyse inventory reports and present data to management as required.
* Ensure all stock is stored safely, correctly labelled, and in line with company standards.
* Highlight and advance stock issues such as shortages, overstocking, or expired products.
