Role: SEN Science Teacher | Full-Time | Permanent

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Start Date: September 2025

Randstad Education is proud to partner with an exceptional specialist SEN School in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit a dynamic and dedicated ICT/STEM Teacher. This is more than a teaching role, it's your opportunity to redefine Science education for students with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs.

About the School

This is a forward-thinking, inclusive SEN School supporting children and young people aged 5-16 with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning needs. With small class sizes and a multidisciplinary support team, the School empowers each learner to develop confidence, life skills, and a love for learning. Innovation, empathy, and creativity are at the heart of its teaching philosophy.

What You'll Do

* Deliver engaging, hands-on Science and STEM lessons that are tailored to individual learning profiles and EHCPs.
* Use digital tools and assistive technologies to support learning and communication.
* Promote inquiry, independence, and practical problem-solving through your curriculum.
* Build a calm, consistent, and encouraging classroom where every student feels safe to experiment and explore.
* Work in close collaboration with therapists, support teams, and families to deliver holistic care.
* Celebrate every achievement academic, emotional, and personal.

What We're Looking For

* UK QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
* Strong knowledge of Science and/or ICT/STEM subjects
* Proven experience supporting learners with SEND, particularly Autism and SEMH
* Confidence in using assistive technology and adaptive teaching strategies
* A resilient, patient, and flexible mindset
* Commitment to inclusive, student-centred education
