Location: On-site in Corby, Northamptonshire, UK (5 days per week)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Company
A global player in the specialty chemicals and adhesives sector, this organisation supplies innovative solutions to industries across Europe and beyond. With a reputation for quality and a commitment to continuous innovation, they are on a strong growth trajectory and now seek a proven finance leader to join their senior leadership team.
The Role
As Head of Finance, you will take full ownership of the financial strategy and operations for multiple European entities. This is a highly influential role that combines strategic vision with hands-on operational leadership. The right candidate will bring extensive experience in managing complex, multi-entity, multi-currency finance functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
You’ll be expected to deliver cost efficiencies, improve margins, strengthen controls, and provide the board with robust financial insight to drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the financial strategy across multiple European entities, aligning with group objectives.
2. Own multi-entity, multi-currency P&L and balance sheet, ensuring accuracy and insight.
3. Drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for multi-site manufacturing operations.
4. Identify and deliver measurable cost-saving and margin-improvement initiatives.
5. Provide leadership in investment analysis, M&A, and capital expenditure decisions.
6. Oversee ERP finance processes, ensuring effective reporting, process design, and controls.
7. Partner with commercial and operations teams to influence decisions and deliver results.
8. Lead, develop, and strengthen finance teams across multiple sites.
9. Ensure robust compliance, tax planning, and risk management across jurisdictions.
About You (Essential “Must-Haves”)

11. 10+ years’ senior finance leadership, with 5+ years covering multi-entity and multi-country responsibilities.
12. Manufacturing or industrial background (multi-site experience preferred).
13. Direct ownership of multi-entity, multi-currency P&L and balance sheet.
14. Proven track record of delivering quantifiable cost savings or margin improvements.
15. Strong ERP ownership/optimisation experience (process, reporting, controls — not just end-user).
16. Able to work on-site in Corby, five days per week.
17. Full right to work in the UK.
Desirable
18. MBA or equivalent postgraduate business qualification.
19. Experience in supply chain finance or working capital optimisation.
20. Exposure to M&A, from due diligence through to integration.

23. An influential, board-level finance leadership role in a global organisation.
24. A collaborative and innovative environment where your expertise directly impacts growth and profitability.
25. Long-term career development within a forward-thinking, international business.
