Role overview and responsibilities
This exciting role offers you the chance to be at the heart of clinical and operational leadership across multiple sites. You will provide leadership, supervision, and support to nursing teams in the absence of the substantive manager. We are looking for someone who can ensure high standards of clinical governance, safeguarding, and risk management, while also acting as a role model to promote evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
What you will do
* Provide leadership, supervision, and support to nursing teams
* Ensure delivery of clinical services in line with CQC, NICE, and professional standards
* Maintain high standards of clinical governance, safeguarding, and risk management
* Act as a role model and promote continuous improvement
* Travel across multiple sites to provide management cover where needed
* Lead on crisis management and service recovery plans
* Monitor KPIs, staff performance, and patient outcomes
* Support staff recruitment, inductions, and retention
* Build relationships with commissioners, local authorities, families, and multidisciplinary teams
