We are looking for someone with relevant school or office experience who is ready to add to our welcoming environment. You will be well-organized, efficient, and calm under pressure. Whether you are an established SBM, an ambitious SSO or a highly effective office manager with experience in finance looking for the next step in your career, you must be passionate about providing an excellent support service to our children, staff, and visitors.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a School Business Manager to be a key part of the leadership structure,
Key responsibilities include:
1. Financial Management: Robust budgeting, monitoring, and reporting using FMS, SIMS, and BMS to ensure long-term sustainability and value for money
2. Leadership: Line managing our site, cleaning, office, and midday teams.
3. Operations & Compliance: Taking the lead on Health & Safety, HR administration, and maintaining the school training matrix.
4. Administration: Overseeing the school office team to provide an effective, customer-friendly reception and support service.
