About the Role:
Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of a Secondary school in Widnes for a full-time School Receptionist to be the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. This is a key administrative role within the school office, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the school's front desk and handling all telephone and face-to-face enquiries
Welcoming visitors, maintaining sign-in procedures and safeguarding protocols
Providing administrative support, including managing mail, filing, and data input
Assisting with attendance tracking and student records
Liaising with parents and external agencies as required
Supporting wider office tasks to ensure efficient school operations
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (preferably in a school setting)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office, SIMS experience desirable)
A friendly, calm, and professional approach
A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
