Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a people-focused, fast-growing business in their search for an HR Office Manager, supporting with HR, recruitment, culture and finance.
This role will suit an experienced and hands-on Operations or HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing both people and financial responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business, supporting both employees and leadership with a proactive, detail-oriented, and people-first approach.
The working hours are offered either full time, Monday to Friday, or part time, across 4 full days or 5 shorter days. There is a competitive salary of up to £40,000 alongside an excellent benefits package including an EV car scheme, enhanced annual leave, company socials, and strong career progression opportunities.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in an Operations, HR, or Office Management role with exposure to finance processes
* Good understanding of HR administration, payroll, and employee lifecycle management
* Experience managing Accounts Payable/Receivable processes and financial reporting advantageous
* Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
Roles & Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day people and finance operations, ensuring smooth and efficient business functioning
* Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless employee experience
* Develop and maintain performance management frameworks, including probation reviews and ongoing feedback cycles
* Act as the main point of contact for finance-related queries from customers, suppliers, and accountants
* Manage all HR administration, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records via HR systems
* Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments
