ROLE:
The Nurse Educator will play a critical role in delivering high-quality training and education to both healthcare professionals and patients in primary and secondary care settings. Ideally with a strong background in diabetes care, the role holder will provide technical device training to support best practices in diabetes management. This role is dedicated to supporting a Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) system, ensuring healthcare professionals and patients are confident in its use for effective diabetes management.
CANDIDATE:
Essential: Current or previously Registered Nurse (RN)
Preferred: Previous experience as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse (DSN) or equivalent. A specialist qualification or significant experience/ interest in diabetes care.
Experience in delivering training to both healthcare professionals and patients in group and individual settings.
Strong understanding of diabetes management, including medication, monitoring, and lifestyle interventions.
Familiarity with NHS structures and processes in both primary and secondary care.
Knowledge of CRM systems and experience in maintaining customer interactions.
Must have driving license and car
