About the role This is a fantastic opportunity to join a creative and supportive team making a real difference to children and families across the borough. As a Communications and Marketing Officer, you’ll help deliver engaging campaigns for Children’s Services – covering areas such as fostering, adoption, SEND and safeguarding. You’ll produce content for a range of audiences and channels, from press and social media to staff briefings and publications. You’ll be involved in every part of the process – planning, content creation, media handling, evaluation, and stakeholder engagement – helping us to communicate with clarity and impact. About you You’ll bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a keen eye for detail to the role. With experience in a communications, marketing, or media environment, you’ll be confident producing content that resonates with a variety of audiences. You’ll be organised, flexible and comfortable working on several projects at once. Knowledge of local government or children’s services is helpful, but not essential – we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in public service. Interested?
