This role will require travel to London or Uxbridge 4-6 times per month

Join giffgaff at a defining moment as we reset our brand and reinvent how we show up in culture. As Social Media Manager, you’ll play a central role in bringing this ambitious new vision to life - transforming our social channels into a destination for discovery, entertainment and community. This isn’t about transactional content; it’s about shaping conversations, proving our brand promise through what we do, and building a social presence people actively seek out. You’ll drive organic discoverability on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. You will also launch our first long‑form podcast series in 2026. This will help position giffgaff at the forefront of an advanced social landscape.

Blending creative instinct with strategic thinking, you’ll lead the development of an always‑on content ecosystem that turns big ideas into culturally relevant, platform‑native content. You’ll lead agency partners, optimise content for search and discovery, and use data to uncover insights that go far beyond vanity metrics - demonstrating real business impact. As a true brand guardian and social‑first creator, you’ll ensure everything we publish reflects our values while feeling authentic, entertaining and community‑led. Our bright and modern gaff is in Uxbridge, in leafy West London. But if commuting isn't for you, most of our roles can be hybrid or remote, or anywhere in between.


The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

* Extensive background in organic social media management & social media channel management within an agency or high‑growth brand environment, with a track record of scaling engagement through data‑driven editorial calendars.
* Experience managing production budgets and delivering "boosted" organic strategies; you will know how to leverage paid spend to amplify high‑performing organic content.
* Ability to navigate complex environments, acting as the primary link between internal marketing stakeholders, creative teams, and external agencies to ensure brand consistency and project deadlines.
* Experience using social listening tools and in‑platform analytics to measure performance, optimising high‑performing organic content.
* An understanding of the changing search landscape within social, and how to create native content that supports citation from the LLM’s


The other stuff we are looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

* Experiencebeing involved with a podcast production or the production of a longform video series.
* Experience in cutting down long‑form assets (specifically podcasts or long‑form video) into high‑performing, platform native formats like Reels, TikToks, to maximise reach.
* Confident in jumping behind (and in front) of a camera to make quick turnaround social content yourself.
