We are seeking amercial Category Manager to join this expandingmercial Function. This role involves managing a pipeline of procurement activity across corporate services, including consultancy, recruitment, legal, audit and benefits. You will lead end-to-end sourcing processes, develop procurement strategies, and ensurepliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver a pipeline of procurement projects, collaborating with stakeholders.
2. Develop procurement strategies and tender documentation.
3. Manage tender periods, evaluations, and contract drafting.
4. Support transition from sourcing to contract management.
5. Provideernance andpliance support.
6. Analyse spend data and market insights to inform decisions.
7. Drive sustainability and risk management within the category.
Essential Criteria
8. Proven experience managingplex procurement pipelines.
9. Strong knowledge of Public Contract Regulations (PCR2015) and Procurement Act 2023.
10. Excellent stakeholder management andmunication skills.
11. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
12. MCIPS qualification (or working towards).
