Teaching Personnel are currently working with a ‘GOOD’ primary school in the LA2 area that are looking to recruit an Intervention Teacher that covers KS1 and KS2 starting May 2026 on a full-time basis. The school is looking for an Intervention Teacher that has had previous experience within a primary school setting and is able to adapt the curriculum to suit the needs of learners. The school are looking for someone who has secure knowledge and is confident in delivering all areas of the curriculum. The headteacher is also looking for someone who upholds the ethos and values of this village school.
The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality small‑group and 1:1 interventions, targeting key gaps in learning and supporting pupils to make accelerated progress. You will work closely with class teachers, SEN staff, and senior leaders to provide personalised learning, track pupil outcomes, and adapt your approach to meet a range of needs. This role requires strong behaviour‑management skills, excellent communication, and a passion for helping every child achieve their full potential.
To be considered for this post you must:
- Have relevant experience working in a primary school
- Be confident and comfortable in delivering the curriculum
- Have effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff, and senior leaders
