About the Role
As a Junior Search Consultant, your focus will be on finding and engaging top talent for some of the fastest-growing ecommerce brands in the market.
You’ll be trained on how to:
* Identify high-performing candidates
* Headhunt effectively
* Run strong candidate conversations
* Support retained search processes
You’ll work closely with senior team members, learning how we:
* Break down a role
* Map the market
* Approach talent in a way that actually converts
This is a learning + development role, but with clear progression into a full Search Consultant position.
We’re not looking for someone to “manage applications”, we’re looking for someone who wants to go out and find the best people in the market.
What You’ll Do
* Support on retained searches by identifying and mapping top talent
* Proactively source candidates (primarily via LinkedIn)
* Headhunt candidates with personalised, high-quality outreach
* Conduct initial screening calls to assess suitability and motivation
* Build relationships with candidates throughout the process
* Support in building detailed shortlists for clients
* Coordinate interviews between candidates and founders/hiring teams
* Ensure a high-quality, smooth candidate experience
* Maintain accurate data across systems and pipelines
* Support market research (talent mapping, salary insights, competitor analysis)
* Learn how to write strong candidate submissions
* Use AI tooling to drive efficiencies in your work
Over time, you’ll:
* Build your own network of candidates
* Start owning parts of searches
* Contribute to outreach strategy and candidate positioning
* Begin developing your own personal brand in the ecommerce space

It’d Be Great If You Have
* Experience in recruitment, sales or a customer-facing role
* Exposure to ecommerce, DTC brands or startups
* Familiarity with LinkedIn or outreach-based work
