About the Role
We are looking for a qualified registered nurse with a current NMC pin to work nights. As the most senior person on site during night shifts, you will take charge in the event of any emergencies and keep a wakeful watch on the safety of our residents and the home.
You will lead a team of carers, have lead clinical responsibility, and provide advice and guidance where necessary. You will ensure high standards of nursing and personal care are met, delivering, monitoring, and re-evaluating care needs in partnership with each resident, their key carers, family members, and the wider team at the home, and liaising effectively with GPs, hospitals and external agencies.

About You
You will be a qualified Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse and currently registered with NMC. You have post‑registration experience, evidence of continuing professional development activities, and a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks. You are comfortable taking charge and are willing to train in the following areas:
* Medication administration
* Catheterisation
* End of life care
* Verification of death
* Syringe drivers
* Gastrostomy care
* Venepuncture
* Diabetic awareness
* Tissue viability
* Epilepsy awareness
* Management of deterioration – sepsis awareness
You will be a positive role model, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to build positive working relationships with others. As a supportive leader you will motivate your team to deliver the best possible care to our residents.
