An exciting opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional care home in Pembrokeshire, Wales. This role is with one of the UK\'s leading health care providers and offers a versatile residential service including both care and nursing packages for younger adults and older people.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents\' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life.
* Champion independence and personal choice; develop, review and update care plans to meet residents\' physical, social and psychological needs.
* Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift — ensure medicines are received, stored and administered in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
* Build the positive reputation of the business; liaise professionally with visitors and external stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines; identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively.
* Support, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times.
Preferred skills and experience
* Ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvements.
* Effective communication and ability to develop professional relationships.
* Understanding and effective use of IT and communication systems required for the role.
* Respectful of the values, views and needs of others.
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload.
* Experience delivering nursing care within the mental health care sector.
* Experience participating in quality and clinical governance programmes.
Salary and Benefits
The successful nurse will receive an excellent salary of £22.16 per hour and an annual salary up to £50,702.08. Permanent vacancies are available for both day and night shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following benefits:
