Role Overview We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Qualified Accounts Senior / Semi Senior to oversee client relationships, manage key accounts, and ensure the delivery of tailored financial solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in finance or accounts who excel in relationship management and strategic account development. Key Responsibilities Prepare statutory accounts and tax returns from client-provided records, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions to HMRC. Advise clients on tax liabilities, payment deadlines, and compliance matters. Liaise proactively with clients to gather relevant financial information, demonstrating attention to detail and effective communication. Work closely with Managers to build in-depth knowledge of client businesses and act as the primary contact for day-to-day queries. Assist Partners and Managers with tax planning, business advisory, and wealth management strategies for clients. Identify and report tax-saving opportunities and value-adding insights for clients. Contribute to client-specific projects, including business planning, restructuring, and forecasting. Ensure personal job delivery meets quality and budget expectations, aiming to exceed targets where possible. Record chargeable time efficiently to support billing and recovery targets. Support and mentor junior staff through on-the-job coaching and guidance. Attend relevant training and CPD sessions to maintain up-to-date technical knowledge. Resolve technical accounting and tax issues using internal support resources and external software guidance (e.g., CCH). Provide bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and management accounts services when required. Support clients with accounting software and bookkeeping-related queries. Participate in client seminars, including logistics, setup, and client engagement. Collaborate with the marketing team and Partners in the promotion of the firms services. Refer and generate leads for Ellacotts Wealth Planning Limited. Person Specifications Proven experience in an account management or client-facing financial role. Ability to complete personal tax returns accurately. Proven Accounting Systems Experience on CCH, Xero, Sage Line 50, Farmplan and other software as required. Knowledge of their uses and benefits. Ability to manage multiple client accounts with professionalism and accuracy. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. A degree in Accounts, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
