We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and committed KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Provide support to the class teacher throughout the school day, monitor and record pupil’s progress and provide feedback to the teacher. Work with children on a small group and 1:1 basis, delivering high quality interventions in preparation for summative assessments. Upholding the school ethos and implementing relevant policies including behaviour. Support the class teachers with identifying and addressing gaps in learning to ensure smooth transitions across KS2 year groups. We’re Looking for Someone Who: Has experience working with children (KS2 setting is desirable but not essential). Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistant Certificate). The schools have stated this is desirable but not essential. Has a good understanding of the primary curriculum, preferably KS but this isn’t essential. Is proactive, nurturing and has high expectations with excellent communication skills. Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with children and staff. A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one. What Teaching Personnel Offer?
