Responsibilities
* Integrate into a high‑performing tax compliance and advisory team supporting a range of fast‑growing, entrepreneurial companies and larger corporates across multiple sectors.
* Own a client portfolio, delivering premium corporation tax compliance services and acting as the main client contact during the process.
* Provide technically accurate, clear and concise tax advice on international expansion, transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, group & shareholder reorganisations, loss relief, tax treatment of interest, capital allowances and tax aspects of acquisitions and disposals.
* Build an external network of peers and maintain an understanding of the firm’s capabilities and general business and economic factors relevant to clients.
* Collaborate with partners and directors in tax and other service lines to support business development activities in the region.
* Liaise with colleagues in other departments to deliver high‑quality service and identify tax‑related risks and opportunities for clients.
* Continuously improve your own skills and knowledge, providing coaching and guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications
* ACA qualification (or equivalent).
* CTA qualification preferred, or proven tax advisory experience in a client‑facing role.
* Excellent corporate tax compliance experience in preparing and reviewing tax computations.
* Comprehensive corporate tax technical knowledge and experience.
* Proven tax advisory experience in technical matters.
* Experience managing a busy portfolio and client handling.
* Experience and interest in business development and converting relationships into fee‑paying work.
* Significant previous experience operating at a Manager level or similar role is required to meet the Associate Director skill set.
