Your Role: A Satisfying Challenge
As a vital member of our small, dynamic team, you will ensure our network runs smoothly, delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to optimize routes, helping us achieve our operational targets. With your outstanding planning and organizational skills, you'll thrive in this fast-paced environment.
Every day will bring new challenges, and your ability to adapt and tackle unexpected issues will be key. You'll communicate effectively with all stakeholders, balancing the needs of drivers, customers, and account managers while staying calm and focused under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Optimize delivery routes to meet operational targets.
* Collaborate with depot operational colleagues to refine delivery schedules.
* Analyze data from various systems to identify areas for improvement.
* Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
What You Bring to the Table:
* Experience in planning with a solid knowledge of the area.
* Understanding of driver working time regulations.
* Familiarity with transport planning software is a plus, but not essential.
* Confidence in using Microsoft Excel and SAP.
* An enthusiastic, can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
