Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kids Club Practitioner to join our team on a Term Time Only basis.
This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children before and after school. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with children, and have excellent communication abilities.
Duties
* Organise and supervise activities suitable for children aged years, ensuring they are fun, educational, and age-appropriate
* Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
* Support children's emotional and social development through attentive care and positive interaction
* Manage daily routines including breakfast, tea and play sessions
* Communicate effectively with parents or guardians
* Lead by example in demonstrating good behaviour, organisation, and professionalism
* Assist with organising special events or themed activities within the Kids Club
* Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the play area and related facilities
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children in childcare, nursery, or early childhood education settings preferred
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards children
* Organisational skills to plan engaging activities and manage daily routines effectively
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 17.5 per week
