Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts Ltd is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions; Construction, Fit Out, Small Works, Retail, Housing and Maintenance. We employ over 250 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an IT Security Analyst to join our expanding IT team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for cyber security who is eager to develop their skills, take ownership of key security processes, and play a vital role in protecting the business as it continues to grow.
Role & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Maintaining security architecture for on-premises and cloud systems
* Overseeing vulnerability and patch management
* Managing endpoint detection and response (EDR), antivirus, email and web filtering, zero trust and network access control tools
* Aligning security architecture with CIS Controls
* Renewing Cyber Essentials Plus certification
* Assisting the IT Manager with project development tasks
Candidate
To be considered for this position the candidate should:
* Have a minimum of two years’ hands-on experience in cyber security within an IT environment
* Demonstrate strong technical IT skills across security tools and systems
* Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
* Be highly organised, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise multiple tasks
* Be proactive, self-motivated, and eager to take ownership of challenges and opportunities
* Display ambition to grow their expertise and contribute to continuous improvement within the IT function

This is a full-time permanent position, and successful candidates can be based either from our Paisley head office or our Edinburgh Office in Newbridge. Due to the nature of the role travel to and from sites and other offices will also be required.
