The ideal background for this role would include experience working within a GP surgery such as receptionist or administrator. However all other relevant experience will be considered.
The role will be instrumental in supporting the administration and delivery of local enhanced services and other PCN projects that help to improve health outcomes for our patients and help our PCN practices to become more sustainable and resilient.
The post holder will work within an established PCN hub team that centralises call-recall functions for network practice and PCN services, administration of online consultations, and more.
The main job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Supporting the delivery of PCN Enhanced Services across the network, including Diabetes and Mental Health.
Supporting achievement against QOF indicators including childhood immunisations, cervical screening, Asthma, COPD and more.
contacting and responding to patient's requests for each network practice by telephone/email/SMS.
Supporting full utilisation of practice appointments and PCN Enhanced Access appointments.
Using a range of IT systems including the Microsoft package (Outlook, Excel, and Word), EMIS Web, and AccuRx.
Administrative support for PCN projects and other ad hoc work as it arises that enhances the resilience and sustainability of our network practices.
