Neighbourhood Officer Swale, Kent Temporary Full Time A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Neighbourhood Officer to join a leading Housing Association, supporting safe, compliant and well-managed neighbourhoods across Swale, Kent. This is a mobile, front-line role focused on resident safety, building compliance and community engagement. Candidates must be a full UK Driving Licence holder and have access to own vehicle. THE ROLE The Neighbourhood Officer will take responsibility for managing communal areas, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting safe, secure and well-maintained neighbourhoods while acting as a visible point of contact for residents. Carry out regular neighbourhood, health & safety and fire safety inspections across estates and schemes Complete welfare and vulnerability checks and produce person-centred risk assessments where required Ensure actions from Fire Risk Assessments and building safety legislation are completed within timescales Monitor standards of communal cleaning, gardening and repairs, escalating issues where necessary Validate service charges by checking services delivered offer value for money and are accurately recorded Work closely with internal teams, contractors, local authorities and external agencies to resolve issues Provide clear feedback to residents following inspections, including updates on communal repairs and safety actionsTHE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate wi...
