Sustainability Consultant / Senior Sustainability Consultant
Location: Birmingham, Cambridge, or Oxford
Discipline: Sustainability & Environmental Consultancy
We’re working with a leading, forward-thinking consultancy that is at the forefront of sustainable design, construction, and building performance. They are seeking a passionate Sustainability Consultant or Senior Consultant to join their established teams in either Birmingham, Cambridge, or Oxford.
With a presence across the UK and a dedicated sustainability function in every office, this organisation offers a collaborative, dynamic environment where innovation and ambition thrive. You’ll have the opportunity to work across all major sectors, including high-profile science, research, healthcare, education, and mixed-use developments. This is a rare opportunity to shape not only your career but also influence best practice in sustainable design at an industry level.
What we are looking for:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Proven experience in sustainability or environmental consultancy within the built environment.
* A background in engineering, environmental science, architecture, or a related discipline.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A passion for sustainability and a desire to make a tangible difference in the built environment.
Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:
* Energy modelling using IES-VE or similar tools.
* Whole life carbon assessments.
* Circular economy and decarbonisation planning.
* Delivering or supporting BREEAM/WELL assessments.
