Location: Bideford - potential for hybrid working
What will I be doing?
* Assisting the Credit Controller to manage the Sales Ledger
* Processing sales invoices in line with Company policies and procedures
* Managing internal and external debt payment questions and enquiries
* Monitoring aged debt and chasing overdue invoices and starting legal proceedings if customers do not pay their debts on time
* Maintaining accurate records

Ideally, we’re looking for:
* Excellent numeracy as well as good written and verbal communication skills
* Able to keep calm under pressure with a diplomatic but firm manner
* A team player willing to support colleagues to achieve team objectives
* Ability to work independently and to follow Company procedure
* Maintains high standards of accuracy and quality
* Confident use of accounting and advanced excel software
* Educated to GCSE level, or equivalent
* Qualified, or working towards an industry recognised qualification in accounting (e.g. AAT) or equivalent
