Overview
We are looking for a Snowflake Architect / DBA to lead the setup, administration, and optimisation of Snowflake environments. This role is critical in ensuring performance, governance, and cost efficiency across the platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and administer Snowflake environments
* Design and implement RBAC (roles, privileges, access control)
* Oversee database and schema management
* Configure and monitor resource usage and cost optimisation
* Implement monitoring and observability for queries and warehouses
* Develop documentation, runbooks, and best practices
* Collaborate with engineering and data teams
* Continuously evaluate and adopt new Snowflake features
Required Skills
* Strong experience in Snowflake administration and architecture
* Expertise in RBAC and security models
* Experience with database and schema design
* Knowledge of performance tuning and usage optimisation
* Experience with monitoring and observability tools
