About the Role
As an Assistant Night Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the hotel during night hours. You'll oversee guest satisfaction, safety, and security while supporting the hotel's management team. This role is ideal for proactive, reliable individuals with experience in hospitality supervision or team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Night Management & Guest Services
* Conduct walk-arounds of the hotel with an eye for guest safety, security, and overall experience.
* Complete the night audit accurately and efficiently.
* Resolve guest complaints promptly and to a high satisfaction level.
* Manage noise and other issues proactively to prevent guest disturbances.
* Maintain cleanliness and order during night hours.
Team Leadership & Training
* Complete duty management shifts as required.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Front of House & Hospitality Duties
* Assist with check-in and check-out as needed.
* Operate the hotel's bar until its 1am closing time.
* Handle guest inquiries in person, by phone, or online.
* Perform overnight cleaning duties as required.
* Support breakfast preparation.
Administration & Cash Handling
* Conduct cash and card reconciliations accurately.
* Maintain records and reports as required by management.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a similar supervisory role within hospitality.
* Proactive problem solver.
* Basic numeric skills for cash and card handling.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Familiarity with Rezlynx PMS is a plus, but not essential.
* Reliability, flexibility, and a professional, team-oriented attitude.
Work Schedule
* This role will include weekend shifts as a standard requirement.
* Overnight shifts (10:30pm–6/7/8am) with occasional additional hours to cover staff holidays.
* Flexibility is essential.
