Qualification, Experience and Skills
* Either a construction or BIM-related qualification (HNC/HND or similar) plus min. 3 years’ practical UK experience; or +5 years’ relevant Revit experience in a UK-based structural/civil consultancy.
* Experience in Revit-based Reinforced Concrete Modelling and Reinforcing Detailing.
* Experience in Revit-based Structural Steelwork Modelling / Detailing.
* Excellent communication skills, and experience collaborating with engineers on design solutions.
* Ability to produce accurate Revit models and structural drawings by interpreting engineering designs.
* Must be comfortable working independently and across multiple concurrent projects.
* Experience in producing Structural Steel Fabrication Drawings using Advance Steel or Tekla Structures.
* Experience on multidisciplinary UK engineering projects featuring Structural/Civil/MEP/Architecture.
* Knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
* Knowledge of general construction and engineering detailing.
* Understanding of the requirements of ISO19650 and other standards relating to BIM and digital design.
