Davies Court is a residential care unit based in Dinnington. This is a 60 bedded unit delivering two services, dementia care and intermediate care (rehabilitation).
As a home we pride ourselves in providing our residents with the best possible care to enable them to lead a positive and an independent life as possible. We operate a person-centred approach and work closely with our residents, families and other agencies to provide the best possible care.
We offer a friendly and supportive work environment, and we are looking for individuals who want to be part of a caring and supportive enabling team to work with NHS therapy staff to work with clients who have been transferred to us from hospital to reach their potential and aim to return home in the community.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a supportive team, helping our residents in our lovely home from home environment.
The successful candidates will have:
* Experience/understanding of the social and emotional needs of individuals and how to best meet those needs
* Ability to demonstrate excellent and clear communication skills, demonstrate empathy and be able to listen and to understand and support individual circumstances and needs
* Practical person and ability to identify and solve day to day problems
* Understanding of Safeguarding
* Understanding of Health and Safety, the safe handling of medications and a good basic first aid knowledge
* NQF Level 1 qualification e.g. GCSEs Grades 3-1, NVQs Level 1, GNVQs Foundation, City and Guilds Part 1
Or evidence of the equivalent level of knowledge gained through work experience.

Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year. In recognition of implementing this temporary measure, those who experience a pay reduction will be awarded three additional days leave (pro rata for part-time).
