Our Opportunity
We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible, and compassionate individuals with a genuine passion for supporting students and education. Whether you are an aspiring teacher, a recent graduate, or an experienced Teaching Assistant seeking variety and flexibility, this role lets you manage your own schedule while working across different schools and age groups. The Bank Teaching Assistant role can be day-to-day, part-time, or full-time, with potential for long-term or permanent positions.
Key Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning activities in classrooms and during outdoor activities under the guidance of a qualified teacher.
* Contribute to one-to-one sessions, small group support, and supervision during lunch and break times.
* Help children access learning and ensure their safety and well-being.
Requirements
* Passion for working with children, including those with special educational needs.
* Ability to work with resilience, patience, empathy, and creativity.
* A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential.
* Knowledge of SEN is advantageous; ability to respond to emotional, social, and mental health needs is key.
* You may be required to provide personal care to ensure each child has the support needed to succeed.
