Job Description
We are recruiting a part time registered nurse to join our out-patients unit at our CQC rated outstanding Hospice in Bradford.
Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC £31,049 - £37,796 pro rata per annum + enhancements
Hours/Contract: 22.5 hours per week (Wednesday to Friday) 8:00am – 4:30pm
Contract Type: Permanent
Based: Bradford Hospice

As a Marie Curie Nurse at Bradford Hospice, you will deliver exceptional nursing care to our patients in our out-patient unit, actively engaging in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the care needs. Working collaboratively within the team, you will apply patient-centred and evidence-based approaches to assess, plan, coordinate and review patient care. Your role will include administering medications and providing personal care as well as facilitating group activities and promoting our services to both new and existing patients. Additionally, you will offer comprehensive emotional, psychological and spiritual support for patients and carers.
What We Are Looking For
* Registered Nurse on NMC Register
* Recent experience of working in a healthcare environment and providing care for people at the end of their lives
* Good IT skills and familiar with using Microsoft Office & Teams
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to have sensitive and difficult conversations with patients and their families
* Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate a care management plan that meets the complex needs of the person, and those important to them
