Deputy Accountable Pharmacist - Aseptic Services

UHDB Pharmacy deliver a comprehensive pharmacy aseptic service to provide parenteral medication for our patients. This role acts as the Deputy Accountable Pharmacist for our unlicensed pharmacy aseptic units providing chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition and CIVAS service to UHDB patients. You will join an experienced and knowledgeable pharmacy aseptic team. Full support and access to development opportunities will be provided.
Main duties of the job
* To provide leadership and act as a role model for the Aseptic Services Team.
* To assist the Accountable Pharmacist - Aseptic Services in the development, co-ordination and management of Aseptic Services activities at UHDB.
* To assist the Accountable Pharmacist - Aseptic Services for managerial and operational issues within Aseptic Services activities at the Royal Derby Hospital; responsible for providing a quality, GMP-compliant service, supplying aseptically prepared products, fit for their intended use, in a timely manner to all service users.
* To provide support to unlicensed aseptic units at RDH (Chemo satellite, Level 2 and 4).
* Working alongside the Accountable Pharmacist - Aseptic Services, provide support to the Aseptic services in the development and delivery of a comprehensive, high quality pharmaceutical service that contributes to the strategic direction of the Trust.
