Job responsibilities
Package Description: At Avery Healthcare, we support the people who care for our residents and celebrate their hard work. You will contribute to delivering high standards of personal care and ensuring continuity of services within the care team. The role includes assisting residents with personal hygiene and contributing to a culture of compassion, respect, and safety.
Role focus: To deliver high standards of personal care and support the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
Other responsibilities include:
* Assisting residents with personal hygiene while maintaining dignity, independence, and respect.
* Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, falls risk, signs of infection) and escalating identified risks promptly.
* Acting courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting each resident's dignity and individuality.
* Practising safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
