We’re looking for kind-hearted people to join us as Care Professionals at Home Instead in Hamilton and surrounding areas.
To join us as a Care Professional, you don’t need any previous experience. It may be that you have cared for a vulnerable loved one, or that you are a charitable person that is always looking to help others. That kind of experience gives you the rare skills we are seeking at Home Instead – compassion, understanding and patience. Our service is not merely task driven but focused on wellbeing and meeting our client’s individual needs
Day to day, you will visit clients in their own home and support them with community activities. This may include attending clubs, lunches, appointments and perhaps doing some shopping. You may help our clients with their personal care including washing and dressing, preparing a hot home cooked meal, and managing medication. You may also assist with light household tasks. But that’s not why our client’s eyes will light up when you arrive. That’ll be because of what you bring to their lives; human connection, reassurance, wellbeing and hopefully some fun!

Must be available between 10am - 2pm and 7pm - 8pm Monday to Friday.
The Care pro we are looking for will ideally be able to commit to working every second weekend.

Guaranteed 16 hour contract
Mileage is paid at 30p per mile.
Great opportunity to earn extra income through overtime and our Carer referral scheme - up to £500 per referral!
Care experience is NOT necessary but is beneficial, but you must be aged at least 18
Must have valid UK drivers License and access to own car
Available to work between 8AM and 10PM

In Scotland, all care staff are required to register with the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) and ensure they maintain their annual registration. You must also work towards achieving your SVQ Level 2 qualification. We will support you with your qualification
