We're looking for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our team, working in a critical environment to ensure all equipment and services operate safely and efficiently. You'll play a key role in delivering planned and reactive maintenance, helping the team meet KPIs while maintaining full statutory compliance.
Role Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with scheduled tasks, prioritising statutory and mandatory requirements
- Respond to and complete reactive maintenance tasks within agreed priority timescales
- Ensure all work is completed safely, following compliance and health & safety standards
- Accurately record maintenance activity using IT systems
- Participate in a call-out rota to support operational continuity
Required Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent electrical qualification)
- 2391 Inspection & Testing certification
- Experience working on electrical installation, maintenance and repair
- Full UK citizenship and ability to obtain DV clearance
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a critical environment (e.g. data centre) is advantageous
- HVAP qualification and high voltage experience (desirable)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (ideal)
- IOSH Managing Safely (desirable)
- Strong understanding of statutory compliance and safe working practices
