Financial Analyst/ Daventry / PAYE: £23.08/hr
Our client, a leading organisation in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support their Daventry site during a leave of absence. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team in a hybrid role, with 3 days per week onsite.
About the Role
As a Financial Analyst, you'll be responsible for preparing complex financial analyses and reports that support strategic decision-making. You'll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close activities, contributing to the financial health and operational efficiency of the site.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare detailed financial analyses and interpretive reports for management.
2. Support the annual budgeting process and monthly expense/staffing forecasts.
3. Deliver statistical reporting including performance metrics, variance analysis, and cost breakdowns.
4. Assist with month-end book closing and ad hoc financial studies.
Must-Have Experience & Skills
5. Minimum 3 years' experience in a financial analysis role within a production or manufacturing environment.
6. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
7. A structured, methodical approach to work.
8. Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
Education & Qualifications
9. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
10. Progress toward CPA, CMA, CA or similar certification is preferred.
