The Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) product organization plays a central role in powering the American Express network-supporting billions of transactions annually across more than 170 markets. We are looking for a highly motivated Associate / Senior Associate - Product Management to support the development and scaling of our Network Tokenization capabilities, a critical component of modern digital payments. Tokenization underpins secure and seamless experiences across digital wallets, virtual cards, Agentic commerce and emerging payment use cases. This role operates at the intersection of Product Ownership and Product Operations and offers the opportunity to work on the development and delivery of critical digital lifecycle products that power secure and seamless payment experiences. You will partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive execution, maintain product health, and contribute to roadmap delivery in a fast-paced, agile environment. Responsibilities Partner with Product Managers to define and execute product roadmap initiatives Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups Act as a bridge between business and technology teams to ensure clarity and alignment on requirements and delivery Drive execution of product initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery Analyze product performance metrics and generate actionable insights Collaborate with stakeholders across business, risk, technology, servicing, and operations Contribute to continuous improvement of product delivery processes and operational efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 2-4 years of experience in product management, product operations, business analysis, or consulting roles Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Hands-on experience with Rally (Agile Central) for managing user stories and backlogs Experience working with digital products or platforms Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar Experience with data analysis (Excel, SQL, or similar) Understanding of customer experience principles Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the UK is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
