They’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in manufacturing operations SaaS sales to drive new business growth across the UK. This is a hybrid role with flexible location options and occasional travel to client sites and industry events.
🔥 Your Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will focus on targeting manufacturing and operations teams within mid-market and enterprise clients to position asset management software that enhances operational efficiency and asset reliability.
Key responsibilities:
1. Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing new clients in manufacturing and operations SaaS sectors
2. Develop strong relationships with operational leaders, plant managers, and technical decision-makers
3. Identify client pain points related to asset performance, maintenance, and compliance, then propose tailored software solutions
4. Collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer satisfaction
5. Consistently achieve and exceed new business revenue targets
✅ What You Bring
6. 5+ years’ B2B SaaS sales experience with a strong focus on manufacturing operations software
7. Proven success selling complex asset management, manufacturing execution, or operations SaaS solutions to mid-market or enterprise clients
8. Skilled in consultative selling and managing multi-stakeholder buying processes
9. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all organisational levels
10. Self-driven with a hunter mentality and disciplined pipeline management
11. UK-based with flexibility to travel as required
