This role will support both Quora and Poe hiring.
About The Team And Role
The Recruiting Team at Quora is at the forefront of driving the company’s growth by hiring and retaining world-class talent to shape the future of AI. We specialize in innovative strategies to build diverse pipelines for both technical and non-technical roles, including senior engineering hiring. Our team thrives on balancing multiple pipelines, crafting effective outreach strategies, and leveraging cutting-edge tools to connect with top talent globally. Responsibilities
* Source candidates for Quora and Poe via LinkedIn, Juicebox, Boolean, and creative techniques
* Review inbound applications and identify qualified candidates
* Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to build and manage proactive pipelines
* Manage the candidate journey from outreach to interview coordination, ensuring a smooth experience
* Conduct market research, maintain talent maps, and build a diverse candidate network for current and future needs
* Achieve sourcing metrics (outreach volume, pipeline goals, time-to-source targets)
* Write compelling outreach campaigns to engage prospective candidates
Minimum Requirements
* Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's “coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
* 4+ years of recruiting and/or sourcing experience, including 2+ years in talent sourcing for engineering roles
* Proficiency with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, sequencing tools, ATSs, and similar platforms
* Experience sourcing talent internationally for global organizations, specifically in North America, with an understanding of diverse markets and hiring practices
* Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and ability to work proactively in ambiguous environments
Preferred Requirements
* Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Ashby
* Prior experience recruiting and/or sourcing in a fast-paced startup environment
* Love of learning and the Quora and Poe products
