Role Purpose
Our banking client is seeking a procurement specialist responsible for efficient and cost-effective sourcing of products and services across all categories, with a strong focus on IT procurement (software, hardware, networking, data centers). This role supports London-based stakeholders while collaborating with global procurement teams.
Requirements
1. Minimum 3 years’ procurement experience (Must be within banking).
2. experience with contracts, negotiations and external vendors.
3. Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and procurement systems.
Key Responsibilities
4. Manage end-to-end procurement projects with medium complexity and risk.
5. Negotiate and manage local supplier contracts independently.
6. Support development of sourcing strategies, pricing models, and negotiation tactics.
7. Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, contract law, and third-party risk frameworks (, DORA).
8. Work closely with Corporate Procurement HQ and nearshore teams to optimize sourcing.
