Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant and HLTA's to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience for students, particularly those with special needs. Responsibilities
* Assist teachers in delivering educational activities and lessons tailored to students' individual needs.
* Support children with autism and other disabilities, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance and encouragement.
* Foster a positive and engaging learning environment by promoting participation and interaction among students.
* Help manage classroom behaviour, implementing strategies to maintain discipline and focus.
* Provide one-on-one support to students requiring additional assistance, particularly in special education settings.
* Collaborate with teachers to develop lesson plans and adapt materials for diverse learning styles.
* Assist in the care of toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being during activities.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.
Skills
* Experience working with people with autism or other disabilities is essential.
* Strong background in teaching or supporting educational activities is highly desirable.
* Previous experience with children, particularly in an educational or caregiving setting, is beneficial.
* Knowledge of special education practices and principles is advantageous.
* Ability to provide toddler care with patience and understanding.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for effective interaction with students and colleagues.
