About The Role
Excellent opportunity as a Night Concierge to provide an overnight presence at Abbot Lodge, Salford, ensuring our residents are well and our building is secure.
At Salvation Army Homes, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive, good quality housing services, support, and resettlement for people who have been homeless.
The Night Concierge will need to help ensure the safety of residents and the security of the building by being an overnight on-site presence and will:
* Supervise people as they enter and exit the building
* Monitor CCTV and conduct building checks
* Engage with vulnerable people who live in the service for up to eight weeks
* Encourage residents to follow house rules
* Maintain a security log
This is a part-time role, with shifts from Thursday to Sunday.
About The Candidate
You will instinctively work in a manner that aligns fully with Salvation Army Homes' values and behaviors, demonstrating energy, passion, and a positive, can-do attitude in your role as a night concierge to transform lives.
You will be confident and able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people, including clients, staff, agencies, and local neighbors. We need you to have:
* Empathy with our client group
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
* Good time management
* A willingness to work night shifts on a rota basis
