The role
As an Assistant Project Controller, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The project controller will support high profile infrastructure project upgrades at Clyde which are critical to the UK defence industry.
Day to day, you’ll be responsible for assisting in the management of project finances, including budgeting, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and regulations, as well as:
1. Identify potential risks to the project's financial success and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
2. Assist in the development of project plans and proposals by providing financial input, including cost estimates, resource allocation recommendations, and financial projections to support decision-making processes.
3. Ensure all change management is administered in line with the contract strategy of the project.
4. Compiling project data in support of the Project Controls Manager to ensure all internal and external project reporting is robust.

This role is a hybrid role with some visits to Glasgow required. Initially you will be required to attend office whilst training.

Qualifications for the Assistant Project Controller:
7. Qualified to GCSE level in a minimum of English, and/or NVQ Level 2 in Administration
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
