This dynamic Construction company specialising in Mechanical Engineering are seeking a Finance Assistant to assist with various finance and procurement functions of the business.
FINANCE ASSISTANT
LOCATION: Crawley. You may be searching for Finance Assistant jobs in Crawley, Crawley Down, Warnham, Horley, East Grinstead, Horsham, Redhill, West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey.
SALARY: £24,000- £26,000 basic, benefits, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, excellent working conditions, onsite parking, nice and bright modern offices, life assurance, company pension, stability.
HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm.
As a Finance Assistant, you will be working as part of a close-knit team, providing finance and procurement support to the team. Your day-to-day activities will include:
* Enter/ maintain purchase order / invoice information database.
* Create/ send customer invoices.
* Process employee expenses.
* Ad hoc admin duties.
You will be personable with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, strong attention to detail, able to pick up basic accounting principles quickly as well as build relationships with customers and colleagues easily.
You will be bright and confident, with a minimum of 6 GCSE’s, grade 5 or above in Mathematics and English, excellent written, verbal and numerical communication skills and confident in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
You may be a Junior Finance Assistant, Accounts Payable Assistant, Accounts Clerk, Accounts Receivable Assistant, BookKeeper, Accounts Administrator, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger Clerk or similar.
