SEN Teaching Assistants

* BS4
* Full-Time
* ASAP Start

Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are seeking Teaching Assistants to join a wonderful 2-form entry Primary School in the BS4 area of South Bristol.

As a Teaching Assistant within this school, you will work closely with the Class Teachers to support SEN pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups.

This school is a community-focused environment that supports both children and their families.


The Role

This position is available to start as soon as possible and continues into September.

The Head Teacher is looking for a resilient, dedicated, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support classroom learning and children requiring 1:1 support. Ideally, candidates will have SEND and EYFS experience and a passion for working with children.

You will be expected to:

* Communicate effectively with Class Teachers, SENCo, and Parents.
* Build strong, trustworthy relationships.
* Prioritize the needs and interests of pupils.
* Adapt activities to meet individual needs and ensure access to learning.


Working with Long-term Teachers
