This fantastic service supports children and young people aged 5 to 18 with complex needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and emotional behavioural difficulties. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a specialist setting on a flexible basis-your role is to enhance both their learning and living experiences, providing the stability they need to develop their unique personalities and life skills.

A successful residential childcare worker will be responsible for:
* Working effectively as part of a specialist multi-disciplinary team
* Supporting the diverse social and educational needs of the children
* Accompanying service users between residential units and the classroom
* Co-ordinating closely with teachers and the wider care team
* Maintaining a professional manner and upholding National Care Standards
* Working a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays
To be successful in your application, you will:
* Have previous experience working in a care setting with young people
* Display a flexible and adaptable approach to your work
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Be registered (or willing to register) under the PVG scheme
* Hold a full UK driving licence
* Have obtained an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People), or equivalent
